December 5-7
Join us for the WISIT x Empower Conference, December 5-7, 2025!
Designed to build on the spirit of WISIT, the Empower Conference invites educators to go deeper into the ideas that matter most—thinking, learning, and leading with purpose. Centering themes of justice, identity, and belonging, this three-day gathering offers museum workshops, thought-provoking keynotes, and vibrant affinity groups. Together, we’ll explore how to create learning environments where all voices are heard, all learners are seen, and meaningful change is possible.
Conference Throughlines
How can museums and community partners help us deepen our understanding of justice, identity, and belonging—both within our schools and across diverse community contexts?
How might we create more inclusive, culturally responsive learning communities that affirm student identities and cultivate liberation?
How can we turn our learning into sustained action—empowering students and ourselves to lead change in our schools and communities?
