We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s AI Innovators Cohort is partnering with the Center for Digital Thriving (CDT), a cutting-edge research group at Project Zero! This dynamic professional learning experience offers educators the opportunity to explore AI in the classroom thoughtfully, creatively, and in alignment with their values, while participating in innovative research that informs new tools and frameworks for teaching and learning.
Inspired by Project Zero and International Baccalaureate ideas on inquiry, deep understanding, and student agency, this cohort provides a safe and inclusive space where teachers can experiment, innovate, and reflect on AI’s potential. Participants will actively contribute to participatory research by testing new AI frameworks, offering feedback, and helping shape tools designed to support deep learning in classrooms.
What You Can Expect:
Through interactive activities, discussions, practice sharing, and reflection, participants will explore questions such as
– How can AI tools deepen understanding and foster a culture of thinking?
– How can AI support agency, creativity, and dispositions in the classroom?
– How do we navigate the ethical implications of AI in the classroom?
