At WISIT, educators explore the research coming out of Project Zero (PZ)–an innovative leader in the domains of teaching and learning for over 50 years, located in the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University. Each year, we learn with and from PZ researchers and a diverse faculty of outstanding educators from the Washington, DC, region.
WISSIT introduces PZ ideas and pedagogical tools and strategies and encourages ways to adapt them to participants’ own context.
Registration for WISIT opens in January. Spots fill quickly, so register early. Registration does not guarantee a spot; you’ll be notified of your status within two weeks. Once approved, you have 30 days to pay the fee by check or credit card.
Scholarships are available for WISSIT. The Mara E. Wilson Scholarship covers the full fee for a local visual arts teacher, with priority for Title I (or equivalent) educators. In addition discounts are available for educators in Title I schools, teacher licensure programs, or teams of 3+.
